hhhmm, how new? i am kind of assuming you mean 2000ish, i think there are little rubber bushings on the frame that the 2000+plus tanks just press fit down onto the frame with four little rubber bungs...
i really dont know for sure though the tanks i think will swap with yours through 1999 but again i dont know for sure......

and by bung i mean the rubber circle thing about the air filter that is screwed to the frame


i loooked at a pic of the underside of one of the 00-08 tanks once and it had silimar looking notches to accept these rubber mounts but i havent done it, i did remount a fe style tank to the fc style shorter tank though and had to get more of these rubber bung things....

as far as the tail goes i have no idea but anything is possible and i remember sombody saying others had graphed the new tail onto the old frame with good results..i have never seen a pic anddont know what they had to do to make it happen....the frames are the same/simliar up to 2008 and i think the radiatiors are the same too, the new seat is different so you would need one of those too......

Husaberg FE400 Plastics & Graphics

Hello my Name is Shawn or as my friends call me " SPEEDY ". I just bought my second Husey today It's a super clean 2003 FE 400. My first one was a 1998 501 FC and I loved to ride it, it sounded awesome i bought it with a BIG GUN exhaust system and it's the only aftermarket pipe for that bike i ever seen?? I had it to sell to make room for my new Harley Wide Glide at the time. Another reason i chose that particular bike from my collection to sell was it almost killed me to start it, I mean it usually started around the third or fourth kick but if it didn't I was done!! Trust me the Tiger Tank lived in that bike what nasty beast and I mean that in the best possible way. Any way I am desperately looking for new plastics & graphics for the bike, it really doesn't need them but everything else is so perfect on it that i just wanna make her perfect and of course she just turned 11 years old so i'm afraid it's gonna be tough. Can any of you out there in the land of the Husey tell me where I can find them or at least some possibilities for me to start looking?? Any way i appreciate any help I can get as this is the first time i ever gone shopping for Husaberg parts and i got a feeling it may be a chore or at least an adventure?? I don't care about the expense i just want to make her perfect and that literally is all that is wrong with it, the graphics are a little scratched and faded, and the plastics are also scuffed some fading as well.Any way please send help!!!!
