Pivot Pegz Mark 3 vs. Fastaway

I want to lower my foot pegs and am looking at the PPs or Fastaways for my 570S
Anyone have experience with both and willing to comment? Specifically:
1. Ground clearance problems
2. Ease of shifting/braking in new lowered (and forward?) position
3. Fatigue with prolonged standing

I installed the Fastway pegs a while back. I had them on my previous bike and liked the wider platform. Once I installed them I felt the shift lever was a little too high, so I lowered it one notch. To my surprise I could then not get the bike in 1st gear - so I had to go back up to where it was. I would prefer the shifter a little lower, but I am just trying to get used to it.

I rode a friend's bike that has the pivot pegs. I was surprised that it didn't take any time at all to adapt to them. I thought they would be really weird, but they seemed pretty natural. I don't know about the height compared to the Fastway, but I think either option should work well.

I ended up with a spare set of pivot pegz, I would sell for $100 (Mark III) they have about 200 miles on them and are perfect.

I haven't tried the Pivots, but I do use the Fastways on my Berg (and DR). From what I've seen, you wont get a different mounting position with the Pivots like you can with the Fastways, which are great with the adjustable bush, and pins.

I'll take them if the other guy doesn't, sending you a pm

Did you also felt that the stock pegs are too high? 570 SM?

My friend who has ridden motards far more than me immediately said that pegs or seat is too highly positioned.

Got both of these pegs switch between them both, The Fastways and Pivot-pegs can be lowered but to be fair the fastways drop a little bit more. For hill climbing I go for Pivotpegs but for race mode I'd go for Fastways, hope this helps...
