Pig-tail 70deg Tank fuel line...

The good news is that my subframe tank is now fixed. Dont ask how yet, i'll try to do a write-up when its properly tested. The bad news is that somwhere during the process the fuel line that connects the two tanks has been lost. The one that has the qick-connect in the middle and that is shaped like a pigs tail. Does anyone know where I could get a fuel line like that? Ive tried with normal fuel lines and the problem is that its not stiff enough and it bends in a way that blocks the fuel passage... and if I make the connection short enough for the line not to bend it is nearly impossible to connect/disconnect the two tanks...

Please help...

What if you turn a thick welding rod or similar into correct shape, slide the hose over it and carefully warm it up and let it cool. Maybe the hose will keep the new shape when you pull it off the rod?

I was able to get one from 70 deg racing as they still had some left, if I remember correctly he said it was the same tubing as a coil air hose.

Im afraid their webpage is down for some time now. Does anyone have their email address somewhere? I'll ask what tubing they use. Or used...

Rainerio,
I wouldn't mind getting in ouch with someone from 70deg first, before I stick a coil or two of high pressure tubing from an air compressor. Seeing that that there is an injector and not a carb sitting in there I want to make sure that the fuel line will not start melting in gasoline. All the melted of cram will finally end up in the injector.

Put some of that line in some fuel and see what happens. This assumes you can't find any other options.
