perfect displacement?

I have a new 2011 Fe 450 and have about 1500 miles on it now and really like the bike but still wish it had a little more power! I compare every four stroke to my beloved KTM RFS 520/525 which we all know is really only displaces to a 510. So my question is this, what do you get when you put a 570 piston and cylinder on the 450 crank? Or is this not possible? I know there's many combinations of this sort with the RFS motors and the Bergs are all the same except for the stroke between the 570 and the 450 right? I know somebody here has to know! Thanks guys

8O More power!? Are you a "big guy" (over 250 lbs?) I mean, really the 450 has plenty of power for "normal" sized people.
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with being big. But, unless you're trying to get 5th gear throttle wheelies the 450 is plenty of motor!
Have you tried the map switch aggressive setting? It's much cheaper than anything else you might try.
If' that still isn't what you're after... you should consider an Aprilia RXV 5.5 That bike is ridiculous! More motor than anyone wants...

Best of luck to you!

i've previously seen and offical 450 to 520 engine kit but cant seem to find it now.

i'm guessing that this was maybejust the 570 piston and cylinder on the 450

or maybe not as i've just found it and its made by vertex.

im a little bloke and i love the 5th gear wheelies, bike only goes as fast as you twist your hand, if you are after less weight you need smaller bike, otherwise its much more handy to have the power and torque on tap to help you out when you cant peg it down a gear or on a greasy hill, i wish i had have got the 650 over the 550 (earlier bike im talking about) im 5'10" 84 kg built like a string bean lol.

Going from a 95 mm to a 100 mm piston would up the displacement from 449 cc to 498 cc.
