I'm looking seriously into the prospect of parting out my Husaberg fs650e 2004 model. It currently runs but has an unknown electrical problem that's wreaking havoc with the estart.
The resale value is quite low where I am so I'm after opinions as to whether it might be worth selling parts.
Currently at 315 hours/18000ks with a full top bottom rebuild at 11000ks. The dodgy bearing issue is resolved. Id estimate that a good 4000ks have been spent babying around town, weekend mountain blasts in between. Has had the cylinder head worked over with valves relapped at 17500. The motor runs great, and to be fair it's the only thing that's stayed relatively trouble free in my time of owning it.
The plastics are the only thing keeping it from looking tidy, they are a bit weathered. I have a maintenance log and receipts for all parts and work done.
So what kind of money would I be looking at?
