Hi, I just today purchased a 1998 fe501. I payed 400 for it with a clean title. It's rough to say the least, so I'm in the market for body parts and fairings. Does anybody know if any fairing\fenders are interchangeable with other bikes? I can not seem to find anywhere that sells them new.

There is no interchange/cross reference with other brands regarding plastics.
Once in awhile new OEM or new aftermarket plastic will appear on ebay. There are usually a few used ones. Taffmeisters has 96 shrouds and side panels that should fit but the color is a different shade of yellow.
There has been some chatter about reproducing fenders but currently there are none.
Taffmeisters - Husaberg, KTM, Husqvarna, Gas Gas, dirt bikes - servicing, tuning, rebuilds, parts

1998 the second and last yar of flourescent yellow.
I have the bayonet fork guards but not the female rings that take them.
headlamp masks.
first of two years with a lower curved edge to the side race number panels. I heve these in old gold not flourescent.
rad shrouds in the old yellow as well.
the plasctics I have made? they can't replicate flourescent. most of the old stuff was set up with 199*** as a part number. you could do worse than sit there on my web shop like I did and put in 199001 and then 199002 and just keep going till it doesn't work no more!
