Parts equivalence KTM -> HSB

Hi guys,

Sometimes it is not specially easy to get some parts for old husa models as mine, FE600-98, and I'm almost sure that many part can be taken from old KTM models.

Does anybody know if any kmt model shares sprockets/filters/oil filter rings/oil filters/air filters/....???

I have ordered a set of friction plates for my '04 clutch hub, which are meant to be for a KTM 525 EXC 00-05. They were just 40euro's (apico) so i can tell this soon.

Oil filter is the same as the KTM 'long' used in the LC4 and RFS motors.
C/S sprockets are interchangeable with Husqvarna 4 strokes like the 610
Bearings from any bearing supplier

Perhaps others, like the rear sprocket, but the above I know work.

if you do a search using the words ktm cross reference and author; bobzilla you'll find a lot. if you find anything else PLEASE ADD IT TO THIS THREAD!

Look up the part number in the Husaberg parts manual.

Go to Bike Bandit and type in the parts number under an OEM parts search for KTM parts.

Even though their parts diagrams only go back to 2004 I think, it appears that the whole Husaberg catalog is in there.

It will show you all the KTM's that use that same part.

The Bike Bandit part number is different than the Husaberg or KTM part number but it seems to work well.

If you don't get good results try leaving off the last check digit or add an "H" in front of the Husaberg part number.
