Wanted to know how folks felt about our ability to get Husaberg parts in the future now that KTM killed them? Thinking of buying a 2011 390, but scared to own another orphan bike... I already have a BMW G650x
The 390 just seems as good as it can get for a woods bike that I can dual sport a bit on?

local dealer?

Is that a KTM dealer? Were all KTM dealer husaberg dealers...as I know they share many parts?

some things (con rods - cranks - water pump shafts) are getting harder but still mostly RFS KTM so, it's pretty good. Case covers and the like show up on ebay all the time. Bling is really hard to get - aux tanks; titanium systems; etc. Still, it's not like owning an Ossa - More like an ATK.

Parts are out there: Taffy from this board (Taffmeisters); Dave Clarke and Trevor Post are your hookups accross the pond - or here if you can't source them and are ok with shipping.

Rick at Offroad Boss in Oregon; Dan and Anne at Motoxotica in Vacaville are your go-to people in the States. Both shops are great and I send them as much bizness as I can.
