Dood. Where are you located? I haven't seen this bike on Advrider, else it would have been sold by now.

Aberdeen as in Scotland? List on horizons unlimited.

I'm in Aberdeen SD USA
It's a great bike I hate to tear apart. Had few guys interested but all fell through. I just have too many machines and need to move stuff for new projects. I'm building custom snow bikes now and Need cash flow.

Ah, SD. Okay, seriously, post it on Advrider in the Flea Market. Do a reasonable price. Take lots of photos. Emphasize the fact that it is street legal and uses mostly KTM parts. It will sell.

SO much easier that parting out. It doesn't look like you have a ton of extras on there, but if you were to have something special, say a steering damper, you generally make more money by removing it and selling separately.

Think of how long it would take to sell 50 separate parts rather than just waiting for the right buyer.

My $0.02

Selling should be easier, but I could well be interested in a spare motor. Tell me the hours and miles and about rebuilds, if any. Pm me with that and a price and I'll figure out shipping to San Antonio, TX.

It's stock in every aspect. I bought from a friend year ago November. If someone gave me 3000$ I'd sell now. It was in storage since February of 2010.
As far as I was told it's a 2007 but if you say 2006 plastic then so be it. It's not titled here.

The '06 plastics are the coolest - Check if it's an '07 motor though, if it is, then it's more valuable :)

I think this bike looks the business.... Following this thread and his other for sale thread... I currently have an 09 70* 450 which has been the best bike I've ever owned.... Some of you on here that really know a lot about these first gen Bergs should chime in.... I think this 650 would make a great dual sport / ADV bike.... I'm watching for that very reason.... Someone post up some useful info to help this guy out and enlighten those of us who don't know much about the first gen

I have a 2006 FE650 currently as a full Supermoto conversion. Besides the great power
from these bikes they are very stable off-road.
The geometry shines in rough conditions.

Questions

What about parts availability? I know there are a few things on the first gens that will interchange with a KTM but the motor was totally Husaberg back then. And... How reliable are they?

Hello,

do you have the seat still for the bike? If so do you know if it will fit the 08 fe650 and if it will how much would you want for it shipped to 97502 Oregon USA?

Thanks

Jason

I love music FE 650

I haven't had mine long , I bought it with the intention of using it as a dual sport And so far have ridden it on the ice this winter and just rode it on our single track race course last weekend . Its been great ,it doesn't ride much different than my xc350 but has lots of power and is nimble enough to do 2' logs . I was also surprised by how Good the suspension is . I spent 1100$ on my Ktm to get it as nice .I really like it and in the research I did before buying it I pretty well learned that if you do the maintenance as it says in the manuals it last a long time . As far as parts I just phone my Ktm/Husaberg dealer and everything seems to still be available ,so far.

For those thinking to make an adv bike out of these one thing no one mentions is they have a steel subframe welded to the main frame that fully reinforces the whole rear fender! Should be great for baggage.

Is it still complete? Available?
