:D Was cleaning up & ran across something that should not have been an issue to
figure out. There were two different bags & had different #'s but looked the same.

Here is the question ? Does the # 800-30-040-000 show up in any books you have?

I have this issue sorted out, but just want to know if this had ever caused anyone
greef ?

Thank's

I will be very dissapointed if the group here does not come up with this answer!

Ok clue for you,it's an engine item not chassi. There is also a prize for the right answer!

O-Ring 126.76 x 1.78, 80030040000, ignition cover

and the other one

80030040100, IGNITION COVER GASKET

hmm but one is clearly a gasket and one an o ring? so as far as causing grief it would have to be confused with

0770102020 liner orings

?? close ???

and the prize is.. one used 80033022000 ??? :D

Good job Bushie!!! Ignition cover o-ring was right!! old # 34000601

One BOSS hat coming stat!

busted.. ...

just want to give Rick (BOSS) and Orangeberg a plug for good customer service, they've just helped me out with some parts I was having trouble locating in Australia.

between BOSS's and ORANGEBERGs outstanding efforts in locating stuff all over the place Ive got enough bits to get the gearbox back together.

and free hats too !!

Thanks guys

regards
Bushie

another one to watch is
'O' ring in clutch clave cylinder
'O' ring in oil filter housing

both look identical but according to a customer i gave amn 'O' ring to try on his slave = NOT the same!

clutch plates
there are 2.0mm friction and.....
1.8mm friction.... so be careful out there!

i can probably think of a few more....

congrats boss and bushie!

BTW bushie, you have to get over to the IoM one day and try the local brew which is called 'bushie's beer'. excellent drop but i have to say that the okells and the castletown were never any opposition.

regards

Taffy

The other "O" ring that comes to mind is the one on the end of the water pump shaft. I replaced mine with one that looked the same but when I put the clutch cover back on it sliced the outside off into a "D" ring. Then leaked..
