Wonder if Carlsson got his 570 or he is riding a 450? Somebody know?

Regards

That's some pretty close racing between all the competitors!

Maybe JockeD will be able to get some inside news on the "big" bike.

Awesome!!!!! What a great way to start the year off. Similar results as last year. It is also great to see our friend and super nice guy Valterri "Bob" Salonen in 4th.

Thanks for the viedo clips logjump. Both are very cool. Was interesting to see the Bjorne's home. That shop is to die for!!

I ran it through the "Translationator 2000", Log. The whole transcript is too long for the post, but I thought I'd post what he said at the end:

Translationator 2000 said:
"I want to thank God for my talent, my parents for believing in me and all the little people.

You, yes you're a little person. And him, over there. Yes him. He's a little person. And this guy in the Sweden jacket? He's very little. [thumbsup]"

thanks,

Excellent start indeed guys!
Mika Ahola seems nearly invincible.
It was cool to see Salonen win the 7th test, (maybe Ahola isn't invincible).

Watched the Bjorne Carlsson video again. Good to see him cleaning the reindeer stalls in his Husaberg sweatshirt and beanie. It looks like he is somewhat of a celebrity as he rides in a convertible then waves to a crowd of fans. (Any translation would be helpful Json).

In short: He says he has been driving bikes since he was 5 years old, and have been a profesional racer since he claimed the gold in 1998. All the time on a Husaberg.

The part were Bjorne is sitting in the convertible is from 1998 at his homevillage Horndal after his gold in the 400-class that year. And in the end of the video he says that he has been so close to the podium the last 2 years were he ended in 4:th spot, and his goal this year is to get back on the podium. And yes, he is a big celebrity in Sweden, he just keep a lower profile then the other hotshots :D

To the question regarding what bike he´s driving: He drives a very customised 470cc -08 and he is very disapointed that he didn´t get his 570-09 in time since he clearly see that his teamate Jocke has lifted him self alot with the new bike. It looks like he´s gonna get the new bike first after the third round.

We had two good race days with minimal problems. Not much to adjust on the bikes, the fuel injection is running great.
It has the feel of a carb but it´s in the rev-zone all the time.(instant response)
The 450 feels just like a 125 with allot of power.
The 570 has 10 hp more than the 650. Jocke and Valtteri looks really strong this year. Björne is strong too much more fit than last year, just want a new bike.

By the way, the new bike is ok to work on. Some bad things and allot of great things. it is a pre prod series so things are being fixed.

I wonder when Honda builds a motor that's upside down? How long will it take? 15 years, like electric start?

here are some vids and pics just click on the movie camera and camera on top of the page
http://www.teamformsvacka.se/html/spalt_main.html
after watching vid Jocke looks very comfy on that bike, the corner speed unreal,
you can also se the new BMW with Anders at the helm but he doesn't look that comfy
and looks like he is pushing hard, to me looks like the Husaberg is clear winner in the
horizontal thumper class, close to the end of the movie you can see the mother of all
ruts it is unbelievable that these riders can carry that much speed

enjoy VIKING[/url]
