Ordering Akrapovic, need help!

I am real close to ordering an Akrapovic slip on for my 2010 FE450. I have been trying to figure out the difference between a couple of them.Here are links to the 2 I see on KTM parts.com.

Is one just a newer version? I have been trying to understand the different Akra's on Husabergs website but it is not very clear. At least to me. Which Akra are most of you running? Don't think I really need or want($$$$) the Evolution version!

I run the second one in your list. I get them at a good price. Nearly the same as all the other brands.

I removed the insert and it gave the bike more bottom end punch or snap, throtle response is better as well.
Yeh its got grunt with the stocker but I like the Akro.

Wow, how do you get them so cheap. They are outrageously expensive around here!

I run the cabon fibre one. I love it. But out of these two the first one has a much better mounting brackets. The second one mounts like mine and they do rub on the tyre and wear out over time.

I have the non carbon fiber tip from the 09 Husaberg catalog which for some reason does not work with the header pipe according to the description.
I think it is a mistake in the old catalog, because the mid pipe stays the same.
Mine has the carbon fiber mounts and there is no problem with rubbing or wear even after a few wipe outs.
Sounds great, only louder at higher rpms and the bike performance is better. The header would be nice to have, too!
