They cost a ton, hard to find, hand made. I didn't know they held only 5 L I thought it was more like 7L.
I have one for my 2008 FE 450 and it's great for racing, looks really sharp. I just sold my bike so I'll probably sell it. It's in MN though and not Italy :lol:

There are three versions of aluminium custom gas tanks.
-The commonly used in enduro is the version of 7,5 liters.I have the same on my 650 and my opinion is that improves handling a lot.
-The 7,5 L used for some factory sm's but most of the IPA and BRT Bergs used the 5 L version that is even more difficult to find,even new.
-The third version is 15L designed for rally-desert use.

Something else about that tank,at least for 7,5 version that I own,is that if you have 650 engine you will need to remove the rear engine breather.The tank is really ''slim fit'' so thats the only way.The big oil plug from carter,this one for filter,fits perfectly for closing the breather hole...

it's 7.2 L, but who's measuring! I also have the shrouds. It's a snug fit but not any different than the stocker tank. I routed my breather out the front and it exausts in front of the skid plate.
