Well lo & behold I received the Omero aluminum tank today.Only took 5 working days from the time they received payment for the arrival of the tank!Freight was expensive no doubt as stated earlier but at least it was quick.
Looks real nice.Now I just need the weather to warm up & find some time to mount it up.Definitely seems real skinny in the middle & is super light.

I purchased a quantity of Omero 7litre tanks from Husaberg Australia when I was a dealer and they are great, you need a heatgun to mould the shrouds to fit under the front of the seat and requires a small hole to be drilled in both the shrouds to get access to the front mounting bolts plus another hole to hook the shroud to the tank. I used a cup washer from the Husaberg front chain slider to recess the head off the bolt so it doesn't catch on your knee, 1 bolt hole in your original shroud is not required as its for the big original plastic tank but does not align wit the alloy so blank it off with a nice bolt . Takes a bit of work but I have a 5 litre Omero on my mx 650 bike and welded extra into 7L to make a 9L for my trail 650. Feels like a 125 once fitted. Would like to find a 15L for ultra long distance but cant find one yet.
