Old Berg 350 exhaust homebuilt

I built this exhaust for a friend/shop owner who wanted something special for his Berg on the showroom. It is an early 350 Berg. The pipe worked well and pulled hard across the powerband. It includes a megaphone starting at the center of the cylinder.

Hi Swiss this looks very inspiring

what is happening in pic 2 in the large built up black section behind the kickstarter where the diameter incraeses?

is it a just heat shield or a clever chamber?

nice work
