Oil leak

Hello fellow husaberg riders,

I own a husaberg fs650(e) 2006 model.
Lately i noticed there was a little oil leak from the little hole where the water pump is (see picture).
I looked in the manual and replaced the O-ring as subscribed.
After mounting again and a test drive, there was still oil leaking out of the hole.
Did i damage the O-ring while mounting or could this have another cause?

Thx for helping me out.

Regards,
Ian

its likely that the bearing in the cover is just showing mild wear now and the shaft is able to quiver. put a new polyamide bearing in the engine cover. also let the CCT off when fitting thejn start again. this will take pressure off the shaft when there is no support for it while the cover is off.

Thx Taffy, I’ll try this soon.
What do you mean with CCT? The cover of the water pump?

cam chain tensioner, take it out. then fit the sidecover etc then put it back with the clickers on zero, then put the spring loader back in.

regards

Taffy

I noticed the same leak from the weep hole on my 08 fe450, where did you purchas the parts? Anyone know if the OB kit is still available?
