Oil leak

I've got a leak ! 04 550 when I get back to the garage there's oil on the floor it's dripping from the tab on the bottom of the flywheel caseing .. please don't tell me crank seals as they just been done ?

It's probably the seal. In my case it was the case. It was cracked....

Simple fix if it is the seal, pull the flywheel, fish out the seal with a bit of force and push anew one in.

Good luck, hope it's not the casting.

If it is the seal a trick I use is to grease on the inside lip of the seal. shaft part. If I didn't do this on my old Husky 2 stroke it would flatten that lip and it would leak. Hope it works for you. It won't hurt.
