Oil leak on 05 Berg 450

I had the problem with the weeping hole recently and a spring on gear selector so bike had been apart. Fixed both the problems, got a gasket cut for clutch side casing as nobody around me could order one in for the same week.

Put the bike all together filled up with oil, no problems. However now as soon as the bike gets hot it leaks quite badly from the casing just beneath the oil viewing glass. All nuts are nipped up correctly. My first thought was that maybe the new gasket that I had cut was no good but then I noticed oil also leaking from the gasket directly underneath the bike (gasket that covers the split down the middle of the engine) and a specific bolt hope on the offside of the bike.

Reached the limit of my knowledge so any input is appreciated! Thanks guys!

there is no gasket between the cases. it is unlikely you have a leak there if the cases weren't apart. look closely up high for a leak and in the meantime, order the proper clutch cover gasket.

Definitely not from high up, cleaned the whole engine with brake cleaner to try and locate. Just asked a local bike garage and the mechanic said could be because the clutch cover case isn't sat flush then it's pressurising the oil to come out of different places? Either way, going to get proper gasket, fit that and go from there. Unless anyone has another suggestion? :L

there is a small 2mm weep hole in the front of the clutch cover. could this be it?

if you need spares - give me a call.

Just ordered left hand cover gasket and another water pump seal as a spare from you Taffy. See if that gasket does the trick.

Probably doesnt need to be said, but, be sure to clean the surfaces thoroughly before placing gaskets and buttoning up the motor. Criss-cross bolt tightening the outer case.

Yeah I'm sure I did everything by the book last time but to be on the safe side this time I may book it into the local enduro garage to get them to do it, peace of mind and such
