Oil filters o ring

Has anyone had a problem w the oil f housing o ring that comes w a new filter being larger than the one that came w the bike ?

I’ve reused my O rings till they leak. Out of 20 plus oil changes only replace 1 same thing with brass washer there I clean them up with a green scotch pad. But no O ring I’ve gotten fit correctly.
