Oil filter FE600 1990-1996

Hello guys! It’s me again…

Can anyone tell me what kind of oil filter goes into Husaberg FE 600 1990-1996? There was some kind of a mesh when I bought it. I’m not sure if that is suposed to be like that so I need advice.
Also what gradation motor oil is best for this bike?

The oil pump and filter was introduced in 1997. Just a screen until then. Change the oil often.

Thank you! I was not sure if this screen was original. I will change oil every 8-10 hours. I’m still learning about this bike. Bike was in parts when I bought it and I changed piston, cylinder, bearings and put everything in order and bike is brutal and I like it so much, but I still have to learn stuff about it! It is great to have you guys here to get help when I’m stuck with something!

With the oil screen you have to change your oil often.
I have owned my 1996 FE350 since it was new. The one thing I did and believe that has helped was I added 4 magnets which are attached to the oil caps, screen and oil drain plug. I do find they capture metal shavings which I clean at every oil change.
