I have a oil cooler kit basically ready to bolt on, including cooler, lines, filter cover tapped for line, and a tappet cover, intended to be tapped for a line. Has anyone here actually done this install? Not sure of how to finish it. I think I need a restrict or to limit flow as well as a one way check valve.

I haven't done it, but I have Safaribergs old Joe Rocket cooler sitting on the shelf waiting. The kit runs an external filter as you have to take the filter out of the original housing to keep the flow up. It also has a one way check valve. That's all I know. If you do a search on this forum, it's been discussed before.

Going on 570. Lots of talk about doing it but looking for some one who has actually done it.

This site has lots of info, but it takes a long time to find useful posts (with installation photos, reviews, etc.). We gotta start posting photos to help each other out! I have been trying to document all the mods and fixes I have done thus far so that I can post it on here when I am done. This way, when somebody tries to do the same fix in the future, my photos will help them avoid mistakes.
