I love this bike to bits, but theres a particular bit which always fills me with dread - oil change time!! 
Theres always spiky metallic bits on the mag plug, which do worry me a bit but i know these are normal.
Today though, when i inspected the plug - there was a piece of metal which looked like half the thread of a 6mm bolt. It looked very much like a half moon piece of steel - just like a thread. I saved it to take a photo, but lost the ruddy thing.
Should i be worried? Well, i'll fret anyway but is it justified?
The oil on the plug was also very thick, as sludge. Rest of oil was ok. Im puttin this down to first oil change after winter - just turned engine over on the kick every couple of weeks.
