Two schools of thought on this motor oil subject.
1 - With only one quart of oil in the Husaberg engine we need do oil changes very often so any quality non-synthetic motorcycle oil should do the trick. Frequent oil changes don't give the oil a chance to break down. Chevron Delo 400 comes to mind.
2 - The other school of thought is nothing but the best will do so only use full synthetic based oil. Since we're only talking about one quart per oil change the added expense of synthetic is only a couple bucks. Redline or Motorex oils come to mind.
Either way just monitor your oil level, change it FREQUENTLY and the Husaberg high life will be good.
PS. Don't forget to perform other important maintenance items like valve clearances, chain lube/tension, tire pressures, etc at the proper intervals.
