oi where is my hi lo ignition switch

somone correct me if im wrong but am i not suppose to hae a hi lo ignition switch on my 99 berg :? i have a australasian dirt bike magazine here from 99 doing a thing on it and they said it has one has myn been removed or was it brought out later in 99 cause myn is a early 99 model
but definetly a 99 motor cause the fly wheels are differant :evil:

:D :D Sorry dude but the bergs don't have HI/LO swich untill 2000
 
Sorry, stupid question time :D OK they had a ignition switch in 2000, when did they lose it? 'Cos my '05 doesn't have one........ does it? 8O

Hi Knopey,

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that the 'Berg lost the switch during the move to the Kokusan ignition change in '04.

The MY2000, that came out in 1999, had the hi/Low switch fitted to the FC Models only. (Maybe the FX in USA as well). When the MY2001 with the new engine model came out the system was fitted across the board. As Jason noted the Kokusan upgrade that came along with the Kehin TPS carby essentially superceded the system.
