Does anyone use one of these flight vest things ,Im using a back pack with a hydration insert and plenty of space for other stuff but its all at the back and a pain to get to at times .
Im considering a tool bag as the husaberg doesnt have a box like my old 625 did ,sure it may not need tools but what if.
Need to carry a tube and small levers and berg tools. phone etc.
Thanks GWP58

A+. Very good product. The weight is distributed well and equally. Seems to offer good protection. I don't wear a roost protector any longer.
It carries more than enough stuff.

+1 Excellent product. All I did was lengthen the straps so it goes over my shell armour. I prefer it this way as its cooler, I get some air circulating under the shell. I also have lap bag attached to the straps

Some pics in the attached.

ogio flight vest is v.good, one of the best bits og bike gear i've bought.

They also did a flight vest for snow sports last year, see if you can check one of those out, couldnt find it on their web site.

for a sport that involves getting covered in mud and water the snow version looked better suited than the standard flight vest, though i havent seen one in the shop so might be wrong,

little note of interest for thise who are big drinkers a camel bacl 3 ltr res will fit in the flight vest.

I had the same issue with chest protector and then a camel back flopping around so found a Zac Speed all in one backpack, hydration pack, and chest protector. Here is the link: http://www.zacspeed.com/exotecSp3.shtml. While it doesn't distribute the weight in the front it does do a much better job of keeping things together so they don't flop around.

Nice piece of kit, although very expensive, hard to get in the US.

I have them in stock and just started wearing the smaller one. Nicest shoulder pad unit i have used to date, they have been selling very well! They are by no means hard to get either!

Tucker Rocky distributes the Zac Speed chest protectors, so they should be easy to get from any TR dealer.

I started using one this year after seeing a bunch of the riders at the FR3 sporting them. I still wear a CP with mine. I have to agree w/ berger; the weight distribution is very nice.

Excellent write up stevo but wheres the bog roll ?

The bit of rag can do double duty, and its more durable, (and reusable?)
