I have ridden the ol' 570 for two seasons now and being built like a brick outhouse I lover the fast steering but my mate Husaferg being of a somewhat more delicate nature reckons they're hard work.

I have the 18-20 clamps but I believe I have the 'central' rather than eccentric TC/Yoke post through the middle? we all the same?

anyone tried the two (18 or 20) happy with 19?

anyone gone to 22s and THEN gone eccentric as well?

someone said that the factory went to 23s back 18-Months ago. I can't believe that? 8O 8O

Taffy I put the hard parts 22/19 love them in 22mm has more planted feel and you ride a rut with confidents
the other benefit you can get over the handle bars standing and steer with your feet by shifting the weight
on the foot pegs
KTM 300 had 19mm clamps for years and I never felt trusting in its steering in 2012 they put 22mm on the
300 and the perseption changed you can now trust the bike

I may have missed it but it hasn't been discussed here much? there just aren't the type of people around that go into things deep and technical. once something is tested as a good idea and becomes main stream then people do it all over - word gets around.

maybe you can tell us what you have been doing of late?

I did all the suspension work in 2011 and this year concentrated on anti-squat, reduced the ride height at the rear with an X-bushing. that has been a benefit. to get more of this effect I must now fit a 4mm spacer in the rear shock.

the old 2000-2008 seemed to handle better with a shorter MX shock in it. MX and SM (FS) shock?

my 560 seems to be the same.

I still don't get how triple clamps can be "18/20" with a normal shaft? and how come one clamp is 20 and one is 21 in the parts book for some 2007 husabergs?
