Oh no no no you have misunderstood, im an absolute wuss (when it comes to riding in the cold) !! No chance i'd be out in this weather ! Wayyy too cold, and my levers/coolant hoses havent come back yet !! I just went to watch, get some secret info before i ride there. i was wrapped up warm as owt with a hot chocolate from the green frog butty van down the road :)

Also they were riding the other way round this time ... didnt look as fun ! Apparantly they're building sommet up where the pits are ... hopefully a new pits !! whatever it is im sure it'll be better than before :D

As i say, i should be out early march time.

Oh ive got a job now crispin too, took a wage drop but the situation atm with the economy and everyone losing jobs, just had to take what i could to pay the bills. at least it now means im not bored in the house all day and ive got money to spend on the berg now :)
 
Looks like a good course this, i'd be well up for a track day. Never been on one before but i guess you've got to start somewhere :D i'd just hang back out of everyones way haha

Quite a trek away from me aswell, so i'd have to get a van sorted to get my berg there.

So you all thinking summer time then? wud make sense i guess, its absolutely freezing at the moment isn't it! Went out for abit on mine on saturday and had lost the feeling in my hands after about an hour :( could do with some handguards me thinks!

Hi Dennis, some of us may venture over there mid March"ish" (I may even post a note for a Sunday in-between, totally weather dependant of course), but certainly some days over the Summer. Will be great fun with a load of Hussas ripping up the place... roll on the Swedish invasion!!

Cheers mate, such a weight off the old shoulders at the moment, still had a nice money cushion but that can now be 'utilised' in the best way possible now :wink: bought some of those nice peg sliders off the bay the other day, superb bits !!

yep the one by the water front ! its legendary. However they gave me a proper cr4p hot choc the other day, sludge in the bottom !!! lol

Oh and dont worry guys we'll give you plenty of notice, hopefully by putting it off til beginning of spring we'll have a chance of at least some half-decent weather !
Should be an awesome laugh, hopefully someone will bring a friend who's handy with a camera and can take some 'official UHE' snaps ....

109 mi – about 1 hour 55 mins

.....your place is about the same distance from mine as it is from mine to preston.

So i don't know if it would make it any easier for me tbh, but like i say, the offer is much apprieciated mate!! :D

im up for track day fun

hi had my berg about a month and love it i switched from aprilia 550 which i blew up twice bugger.
up for track day and have x2 bike camera and dvd recorder.
have 650 from dave its set up good and goes like crazy just been making exhaust system for it.
i been thinking running twin GP st lye exhaust will mock one up next week if have time
at moment made titanium pipe sounds good runs well

What bike set up do you need for the track days? i take it its footpeg and axle sliders and engine breather and fuel catch tank.

I don't think they are that strict at Trax, I don't recall any sort of bike inspection, (although there may have been an unofficial/informal one by the guy who takes the money (but I don't think so)).

I think folks were thinking March/April time, so I guess any good weather Sunday should do from now on?

I'm off the road just at the mo, (broke down on Sunday, so shipped it off to DCR for some TLC), but should be back in a week or so.

I'll be up for a Sunday any time soon, just need a couple of weeks for my wheels.

Any news on anyone feeling a bit of a track session then? The weather seems to be picking up recently, with the exceptions on monday and tuesday which were a joke!

Yeah back on the road thanks Den, not had much chance to get out lately though, as I'm balls deep studying for exams in May...

Did get to my local industrial estate circuit last weekend & had a great time, ground in the peg sliders, and pushed the front so hard in to a roundabout I lost traction & went down. No harm done to the collar bone fortunately, and bike is fine. I picked her up, jumped back on & carried on round (a bit quicker to prove to myself I has not been put off...).

Would really love a track day one Sunday, but for me at least I'm out the picture untill early June when these exams are done, then I've got a month or so until the next unit starts.

You guys go ahead & arrange something, & I'll join in the fun June/July time!!
