I was recently threatened by a cop (who booked me $100 for no chainguard :roll: ) fot the angle my number plate was mounted as it was just bolted to the rear mud guard. Legally speaking (in Aus) from what I can tell the only real basis they'd have is saying it couldn't be read from 20m back from any angle 45 degrees either side of square-on. But to keep them happy I'm trying to rig something up to put my plate on a more vertical plane. Has anybody else come up with something themselves or found a decent aftermarket plate holder?
