not idling properly

my fe600 wont idle it's hunting all the time then stops if i turn up the tick over it goes to high help please :oops:
 
Sounds like **** in the carb to me

You Brits have either very unique plumbing or very stange personal habits

Usually when a carb does that it means there is crud in the carb. What you will need to do is give the carb a good cleaning, make sure all passage ways are clear also where the choke flips up apply a small bit of oil on the plunger when reassembling and then after ward do the same where the lever flips up, work it up and down a few times. There is information on the carbs in the downloads. Hope this helps.
