Howdy, looking to put the heighth back into this newly purchased machine. Looking through all the threads on "lowered" 'bergs it sounds like I simply need to remove some spacers from inside the shock and one of the fork tubes? Bike is reaaly low right now, seat height at about 33". All the proper manuals came with; suspension and workshop manuals are complete.

yes remove spacers and check if the springs can handle the extra travel without coil binding

work out how long the springs are fully compressed measure their free length, the difference is the total travel you can ask from them before coil bind if you use say 7mm preload you need to subtract that from the allowable travel

you probably need spacers for the springs to take up the slack created when you remove the lowering spacers.

very simple if its all apart

if you get a presta valve core and adaptor off ebay you can screw the valve core right into the shock resovoir, same thread as the little bolt. search "shock bleeds 101" by PMK on KTMtalk for some different ways to redo the shock.

compressed air works in the resovoir spec is 12 bar.

Thanks Bushie, in the "WP Extreme" manuals one of the previous owners has a bunch of notes in there that relate to bushing parts removed ..." per White Brothers."

Is there a WP suspension center in the US where I can just send these for R&R? I'm not real sure about the integrity of the last guys building these forks and the shock.
