Hi all,
just joined due to buying a 2003 FS 650e. I know these are a little maintenance intensive, but this will be a toy, so not a daily commute. I have time and space so I`ll be cutting my teeth on this one. So hoping you guys and gals will be able to help. I do have a couple of queries, but before I post them, I`ll have a go myself...done some research so fingers crossed.

I dont have any friends that ride, let alone any that ride these, so I`ll be looking for local meets/clubs/rides to get to know people.

I absolutely love the bike...its a little faster and more powerful than I thought, but I have an R1 and its fast, but a completely different ride. Cant wait to get used to it and try to unleash the full potential (which i'm sure is impossible).

I`ll get my profile updated and an avatar sorted, but hope to see you out there!

Rob. ;)

Hi
sorry for the late reply...im in Southampton. You're only down the road.

Are there many other Husabergs or Motards around here? Do they have any meets or ride outs? I assume you have been to postsdown hill for a burger ;)

Have fun and ride that beast !!

Hi,
It is a bit of a beast. Like I said earlier, its faster than I thought. Decided to snap the throttle open to get the wheel up and nearly flipped it! I was in second and am used to the R1 taking a bit more effort to lift....this doesnt need any effort what so ever.

I think I need to take it easy for a bit to get used to it. Love it in the corners though, so easy to throw in and loads of power on the way out...scrubbing the tyres in nicely.
