Hey all, noob here so help yourselves to a drink!
Looking to convert to from sports bikes to a supermoto of some description purely for street riding. What i want is something light with bags of grunt that doesn't mind sitting at 75mph for a couple of hours if need be (not all the time) to get to some decent twistys. Whether i can find a bike that fits the bill is another thing.
Really like the FS650E but i own a YZ450 for green laning and i'm really not up for oil changes every 5 minutes as my mate is getting the KTM690sm (3000m per service) and we do a fair few play miles at the weekend (150 or so) Soooo has anyone made an extra oil tank to fit in the triangle under the seat to extend the service miles a bit. What i'm i'm really looking for is at the very least 1500 miles per oil change.
Also what else needs to be kept on top of? I'm no riding god and don't redline everywhere - i do have mechanical sympathy but like everyone i do have my moments.
Also is it vibey (for a big single) and what sort of bhp do they push out?
Lots of questions i know but i'm totally clueless and have been riding sports bikes forever so any replys and i'd be grateful.
