Last week I stopped on a trail and shut bike off. Went to restart and it wouldn't start. All fuses except headlight one were good. I had spark. Removed and replaced dirty in tank inline fuel filter and fuel pump.
Put all together and it will sometimes start, but will shortly after die. It stumbles right before sputtering out.
It has spark and appears to be pumping fuel by evidence of watching disconnected fuel line. Fresh fuel, airfilter, and battery at 12-13 volts even with load.
Could it be a clogged injector? How Common is that?
Valves out of spec?
Would my accidentally opening throttle body butterfly valve when cleaning some grease from the throttle body, cause a problem? TPS? Crankshaft position sensor?
