Noisy bottom end

Was out riding with friends on the weekend on my 2003 FE 501 when I noticed
there was a real rattly noise coming from the bottom end of the engine.
Bike still starts and rides fine, plenty of power.

Any suggestions about what it could be?
 
lots of things!

things to look for are the
crank can snap on the end
cam chain is now very loose

they are the obvious ones.

My main bearing seal worked loose. I don't remember it making a noise, but depending on how far it went, it certainly could have. I pulled the engine when I found pieces of the spring on the drain plug.
