Hi!
The bike is still running well after rebuild, but i have no lights and no brakelight. I have rewired the electrical system, and I´m pretty sure that all cables are in their right place. The stator is almost new! Can it be the regulator? I havent messured output between yellows and blue yet. I have red that I should have 60-70volts between each yellow and blue. Some advise here would be great.

Thanks!

Regards /william

Hi Wille,

Yes that is the sort of voltage you are looking for but with revs on the engine. It is possible that it could be a regulator fault but these units are pretty reliable.
Make sure the regulator is grounded well along with the Blue wire from the stator.
Take a reading directly from the regulator, if you are getting power there then the next step is to test the light switch, if not it's a a duffer.

Silly question have you checked the bulbs to make sure they aren't blown, it's happened before, due to a bad ground on the regulator.

Regards

Sparks.

Thanks to the thread - I have to check the FE600 as well.

starts and runs fine, but no light, no flasher, no horn.

The stator should be ok, have meassured the yellow cable (my ignition thread)

The blue from the stator and the black from the CDI are grounded.

Hello again!
The bulb is new, but maybe it has burned due to bad ground as you say. I will check the ground and messure voltage on the regulator on the weekend. Rear I have a LED light, and I know that they should run with DC, but it works on AC too, but with a little flashing.

Thanks!/ William
