NO LIGHTS!!!!

hi all

just bought a new berg, was out riding an mate pointed out my brake light wasnt working! then i realised none of the lights would work! the indicators work fine but thats it! then bike isnt fitted with a standard speedo or any of the indicator/ high low dash lights?

im pretty new to these so any help appreciated

Welcome!

There has been a lot of different husaberg models produced over the last 20 years so the first thing we need to know is the year, model, and country of the bike.

The brake light on my 08 only has a switch on the rear brake.

Sorry, it's a 2002 650 supermoto, British . All switches are there but no lights. Nothin on when lights on n nothing when brAking

Okay,

Go here: http://www.husaberg.com/fileadmin/user_ ... rGB-02.pdf page 12

And download the owners manual. There is a single line diagram in there for all the models of that year.

You should be able to decipher what is there and what is not, and what is not hooked up. Remember your lighting system is A/C. One of the yellow leads from the stator goes to a voltage regulator which is dedicated to the lighting only. The other yellow wire goes to a regulator/rectifier for charging the battery.

Clean up the bike and have a look and let us know what you have found.
