no clutch with rekluse

Just install rekluse z-start pro on '05 fe 650,work nice,good idle,just a bit of drag at idle but i lowered it and it is ok,there is no slippage while acceleration BUT I HAVE NO MORE CLUTCH COMPLETLY USELESS ... ANY ADVISE

i install washer on trow-out and have to install thicker steel plate to achive free play 'cause initial setting did not give me any free play like it was supposed to. With thicker plate i am not able to insert the 2 wire gauge
 
I would say you clutch rod needs adjustment. I did my husky and I had to adjust the length of the clutch rod to make it longer. Either that or your hydtraulic clutch slave is not working. The clutch lever doesn't really disengage the clutch unless you have the clutch engaged by revving the engine.
 
could it be hat i lay the bike on the side to work on it!!! or i do you adjust hydro clutch
 
well i feel it is working but not enough and also the lever is like free at the same time,cause when i remover the clutch cover i tried the lever and saw the top plate moving just a litlle
 
When you fit a Rekluse the clutch lever feel (pull) will definately feel very light as though the clutch is not working, unforunately this light feeling is normal, as long as when you pull the clutch lever the clutch disengages and you have no slippage while riding, all should be fine

well light is light but i cant use it anymore to find neutral at idle,i was thinking could air be trap when i laid the bike on the side and i will have to bleed the entire system to regain more action!! thank you for your advise

btw i realy like the action of the z-pro,now the bike powerband is so smooth
 
As Rocket described, your clutch feel changes dramatically with a Rekluse, unless you have the Core. My 390 with the Z-start feels like a wet noodle at the lever. It takes a bit of getting used to for when I want to clutch over boulders and things. And neutral is impossible to find because it drags a little, but I hear it's like that stock anyway. But you might try bleeding the system anyway to ensure it is working as well as it can.

I'm not sure how it smooths out your powerband. It's an anti-stall device. There's no change to how your bike makes power.
 
i just feel the acceleration seem a bit different,traction also seem better...well that is my opinion.i am totally satisfied with the product for now.but will try to improve the clutch action

maybe i'll try to get a longer push rod..what do you think
 
If you installed the Rekluse correctly there is no need to change the push rod, bleed the system, as if you pulled the lever while the bike was on its side there is a chance you have air in the system
I understand what you are saying regarding smoothing out the power of the 650, i had the same feeling on my 550
For me finding neutral while the bike is running was always an issue even without the Rekluse
 
you are right medo what kind of oil should i use and should i feed it from the bottom to push air bubble toward the lever
