No Blue Wire on Sparks SEM

Hi there,

I have just got a new SEM Stator via Taffy & Sparks & there is no blue wire, this was originally connected to one of the 3 yellow wires coming from my Reg/Rect.
The bike is 2003 FE501 and I have spoken to Taffy earlier today and was advised to just connect the two yellow wires from the SEM to any two of the three yellow wires coming from the reg/rect, reason for posting this one is not that I don't believe the advise, It's just that I have been swamped with different advise when searching this forum, (3 phase, 2 phase etc etc)

Do you have a regulator rectifier or a voltage regulator? If you have a reg/rec then connect the two yellows from the stator together.

Hi There Komatias,

Thanks for the quick reply, this is what I have:

You can see on the wiring diagram that the Stator shown as "G" has 6 wires coming from it but my new one has 5 wires (No blue Wire) leaving 2 Yellows to connect to 3 Yellows hence the confusion.

All sorted on this one thanks, I needed a six wire Stator, Taffy & Sparks have come up trumps.
