imagine what he could do if the sun actually put some heat into the track. living north of watford gap - must be tough on him bless!

Cheers guys  :signthanks: I do get some much needed & appreaciated support from local bussinesses & friends  I definitley couldn't compete as I do without they're help anyways.

As for the tyres, dunlop 465 front tyre, michelin 14A rear. Cant go wrong :p Plus that tracks mega! Really good tarmac, very grippy. The dirt sections not half bad either.

...not even then actually, I like having the feet up high where I ride...plenty of nasty rocks and tree stumps...

Great photo Chris! Looks like if you used peg sliders you'd be at risk of springing off the tarmac with the extra height!! Excellent photo dude!!

Gret pic.

I've had my bike at that angle quite a few times. Unfortunately it is always on the way down to horizontal..

If there was ever an action photo that's got to be it, good effort Chris, we could do with some of that grip techknology out here in Spain, most of the roads out here are lacking in that department.

Regards

Sparks.

been studying the pic chris and reckon if you ride side saddle you should be able to get your bars down!!

awesome photo, forwarded it to everyone i know who even knows what a supermoto is! if i could achieve half that lean angle i would be happy.

Heres a real rookie question...but how much of the bike/rider does the down foot actually support? It's such a different riding style than road racing.
Amazing!

The foots up there firstly because theres no room on the peg so it has to be lifted up. Secondly is like a measure for were the ground is, and thirdly you only really ever transfer weight to your foot when you tuck the front, to pick it up again.
Hope that helps 8)

Well the reason I ask this is because I once took a corner at night too fast on my ZX9R, (too fast for my ability not the bike) and anyways the old rule of just laying it over because the bike can do it took over and everything was fine. However the beauitful young **** on the back got scared, and half way though the corner thought she was going to scrape something on the road and she sat up straight instead of leaning with the bike...YIKES my rear tire broke traction for a second and the bike made a bit of a snake but we made it just fine. I didn't even realise what happened until she told me afterwards. So thats why I get confused looking at these pictures I can't wrap my head around how your able to sit like that and still hold the corner.
This is the same as dirt riding yes? I know I also have this problem of making turns at high speed on my dirt bike when the road is flat and theres no bank...do you use the same method there? Lean it over let it slide and come on the throttle? It took me all summer to get used to putting my foot out, and then I looked like an ***** when I was riding my sportbike around town after the summer.

nice pic mate, hey crispin thats how to do it, look no man hole covers there, it reminds me of this pic

ha ha Mick, I must have hit that lean angle on my way down, just wish I'd of had a photographer there to "capture the moment", (if you could have seen my face it would have been even better!)

Reackon 3 - 4 weeks then back out, can't wait!!
