newbie podium's first hare scramble

Hey all
I've had my 2008 Fe550 since March and have really enjoyed it.
Everything from black top to trails to ice riding.
Got talked into trying a hare scramble, my first race of any type - ever.

Not only did I manage the hole shot, I led for 4 laps, then messed up and finished 2nd.
Tall Bike and lots of Torque really helped !

looks like good country stu.where abouts are you?
so many great places in this world to ride,but so little time to ride them.
