Newbie from Poland, want to buy Berg fe 570

Hi all,


I found in Polend Husaberg FE570 from 2010 with extra price (about 2300EUR !)
When I saw it i fall in love :)
Seller tell mi that he was doing something with gear box, 4th gear broke.
He checked piston, cylinder and other stuff, and he say that everything is ok, doesn't require any repairs...

Hmm, ok but berg have a 7 years old... He have it from 2 years, without any repairs...
It is normal?

I want to be a fe570 new user, but i have no idea what i have to known about it.

Yes, could be normal! The motors are very strong. Usually no rebuild is needed until after some hundred hours. More than 200 :)

2300 EUR sounds pretty good.

I have not heard about a broken gear in these bikes, but everything can happen :)

I would think it is possible - but not guaranteed, of course - that you can put a new 4th gear pair in, and go riding.

Does this make sense as an answer? :)
 
If you are a handy man with a garage you will be able to repair the gearbox, just dl the workshop manual and follow the instructions. As you dont know whats broken or not obviously its hard to say how much it will cost. But the price is ok unless the content is metal sallad.

Hmm, the seller doesn't know, how much "mh" is now, from last rebuild.

Now Im thinking about gears, and maybe this demage was in FC600, because I was talking with two sellers in the same time :)

I will meet with fe570 seller in next week.

I see that you have the same bike, maybe you have some sugestions about fe570 typical faults?
 
Sorry, but you don't understand me (its my fault :) i know)

Gear box was broke but it is done now. Bike is in good condition, without any demages :)

Ahh, buy!

You will find plenty of info on this site so you can read about potential problems (not many) and other good info. It doesnt matter if the thread is about 390, 450 or 570. Almost the same bike so same issues (almost).

I thought 2300 EUR was ok for a strong bike wirh a broken gear. For a bike with a rebuilt gearhox I'd sell the washing machine and refrigerator if I needed to get 2300 €.
 
(A bike like this, 2010 570 with 200 hours on the motor, went for 6700 EUR over here last year :) But I live on an expensive island..)

Usual price's in Poland are similar like in other europe country's.


This bike is not expensive because a husaberg is not pupular here... (seller told me the same), you can see a number of views in auction, about 70


I'm afraid about spare parts. Like i told you is not popular. In poland i can buy:
piston - 140EUR
inlet valve - 120EUR
outlet valve - 35EUR (i don't known why is a big diffrence between inlet and outlet valve's...?)

and some other small engine parts.

But i can't find cylinder, shaft, rood/rod (?), in poland is not available... maybe in ktm service, but i don't asking.

The same situation is on ebay.com...

Tell me wher i can find a cylinder? if it's damaged

Cylinder is NICASIL coated?

Many parts fit right in from ktm as the engine is buildt up from ktm parts. So in worst case you could even use a 500 or 450 ktm cylinder and piston. So yes, some parts might be a problem in the future, but most wont.

Inlet valve = titanium, outlet valve = steel. Same head as ktm except the oil drain, so you could with a few small adjustment slap on a ktm head in the future if something terrible happens.

Cylinder is nikasil coated.

You can find spareparts at ktm and husqvarna dealers. No worries. And the engine is one sturdy machine that with normal maintenance will go many hours. Your is probably still within specs that ktm sell them as new.

So with that price buy. If you regret your purchase contact me and I will buy it!

Thank You, #jon andersson. I will buy this bike. But I just called to seller and he told me that somebody gave him money for reservation... He is not sure about buyer, and he will call me tomorrow if he don't sell bike. This husaberg is wonderful and if I don't have this one then I have to find another one :) now I don't worry about spare parts. Exactly, who care! It's only money's, I'm in love, I have to buy one! :)

jak z małopolski to daleko nie masz. Czy on jest w ogóle zarejestrowany bo cena podejżanie niska. Poproś gościa o Vin i sprawdź historie w jakimś KTMie.

Tak, ja do tego gości mam około 50km, problem w tym że ktoś tam niby go zarezerwował ale jeszcze przelewu nie ma i nie wiadomo co dalej. Dzisiaj dzwoniłem i ta sama odpowiedź- poczekaj jeszcze dzień.

Wiesz, na razie nic więcej nie pisze bo tam nie byłem i nie oglądałem a przez telefon ciężko wszystko dogadać.
Ale fakt cena nie jest bez powodu taka niska :)

Może słyszałeś o jakiejś sprawdzonej sztuce za 12-14K PLN?
