Hi All,

I recently lucked into my first Berg ('06 fe450e) at a deal I could not pass up, bought it without even seeing it but was warned it was 'well used'. Now I have to nurse the poor girl back to health, as she was 'rode hard and put away wet' quite literally. I have to say, my immaculate DRZ400S just doesn't feel the same after a few test rides on my battered, beaten, and limping Berg! I swear the Berg can climb trees if I was brave enough to try. My son and I are having fun tearing down the Keihin FCR to get her summer trail worthy for now, and then a full rebuild next winter.

I will have loads of questions to the community as I progress with this bike, and am pleased at how unique and cool the Husaberg line is!

Thanks,
Bill

Welcome to the forum, I was lucky enough to visit Halifax in 2008 when we docked for a week. Superb place. Ideal if you're a seedood fan.

I'm in Halifax myself, on a new to me 2011 FS570 this year. The bike will walk all over any of my previous bikes (DRZ's, 690 Duke, 625 SMC). Should be a fun summer!

Hello Bill! Good to hear from you. It will be tough for me to ride all the way there though we are almost next door. Looks like you are 7000 kms from here, as the Husaberg flies. I am looking into just how far we can get, with off road only. BC looks doable. Will continue research. Good luck L
