Just picked up a USED BERG !!
It has 32.2 Hrs , and 487 miles . Looks like the clutch cover gasket is leaking ( bike HAD a Rekulse in it ) and the ft sprocket looks like its leaking . Other than that bike is clean and tight , just normal wear , new tires.
Trail Tech Supension

So far I love the bike ,......... from KTMtalk ......
As most of yall know , I have been bugging everyone for help with a Berg. I rode a 390 on a 2 mile Demo and I was hooked . So I sold my 2009 KTM HT Racing 280 . Now I am looking at USED Bergs . I got to DEMO my buddies FE 450 today . I got to ride it 35 miles , at my local riding spot . Single track ( TIGHT !) ATV trails , fireroads, hill climbs. The BERG !! 2009 FE 450 loaded out with extras , in stock 1 ( girly ) mapping with sparky in . Flexxbars, GPR, new tires, supension work ft/rear, and tons of add ons ! At first I thought yall were crazy about this being a single track bike . I was afraid of it ! Mapping 1 is POWERFULL !! I came off a 450, 525, 250XCF , and a 280 XCFW . So I have been around a few KTMS . After about 20 mins , the Berg clicked . It felt so nimble , bike was deceiving FAST . I thought I was going slow , then I had to STOP ! Almost blew out corner . I was running 3rd gear in single track most of the day , working the clutch . I was slower today , trying to protect hurt shoulder . Also going slower because I was on a demo bike . But I rode it hard , fast as I could go , being on a different bike , so everything was new to me . When I stood up the bike felt even better , so smooth . The power was so smooth but still a 450 . I could not believe the ride , this thing sucked up everything I threw at it . On my 2009 , I could NEVER feel 100% confident on the roots and corners . This bike is not even set up for me yet . I felt right at home on the 450, very smooth , very nimble . Best bike ever rode so far . I few tight places ( almost trials section ) , I just stood up , worked the clutch , and never put my foot down . One spot , I ALWAYS put a foot down , very hard tight , hard to go through . The Berg went right though it , DID I TELL YALL HOW SMOOTH it is . I still think for me the 390 would be a better fit , but this 450 was almost perfect . I will never ever use the power of the 450 , but its FUN ! Bike NEVER felt heavy , never got tried . This bike just hooked up , anywhere !! Very smooth in the single track . I almost boiled the radiator on one SLOW section . It bubbled but never spit . My buddies said I did good on bike . I was alittle slower , but I did not want to waste my buddies bike , if I crashed . SO I am going to buy a Berg , just have to figure out which one . New $7500.00, used racer bike under $6000 ( needs TLC ) , or my demo bike today $7000.00 FIRM . I offered $6500.00 in cash today and he said NO ! I am going to throttle cam the bike . The bike did Backfire at airfilter ? today 4-5 times , but I was under heavy load , maybe in wrong gear ? ( still learing ) . My buddy said never backfired on him , maybe sparky and stage 1 ? Not sure . Bike did great ! Also has a oil leak (dip ) behind the front sprocket . Can that seal be pulled easy ? Thanks for all your HELP !! Looks like a Berg in my nere future . Getting USED to save some cash . New 2010 Berg 390 is to much
Glad to find a BERG site !!! I do hate the BLUE though ..... going ALL black and white on my Berg with BLACK rims !!!!!
