Hello gang.

I'am new here and nice to see that this forum is still active bc many forums are not in this social media era :D

But any way i bought my first husaberg fc600 (96) and i like it very much.
Sadly i just drived under 2 hours and engine did literally exploded. But lucky for me i had extra motor witch is fe350 and i am gonna put it in my bike and i'm gonna build new motor with time. Is there any place in this forum where i can post my projects and the progress?

Here some pictures:

Welcome subline, and what a great first post!!!! Remind me not to let you ride my bikes!

How the f... did you do that?! Quoting Rainerio, Holy Crap!

All you scandinavians are a bit nuts- and that's coming from an Aussie- but we love you for it- 'cause we wouldn't have Bergs or Huskies without that passion!

Keep us informed, and I think you should get friendly with Taffy!

Thank you guys :)

it was between rod and piston bearing i'm not sure what it's called in english as you see my english is not good :D

haha thank you my aussie friend ;)

Subline wait till you read Taffy stuff he will have scratching your Head and he’s speaking English But he is very knowledgeable. By the way find out what oil the previous guy was using and don’t use it. ebay is a good place to look and course Taffy is a good for parts

hahah cotcha. i all rdy check ebay, not my first rodeo :p
the previous guy was a slime, i bet he did know this will happen. i did get some compensation but still he was a scum.

you will kill that poor little 350!

i have almosst everything you need.

get a parts book, check the number you want and then put it in my web shop.

I have new barrels here. 92mm would make that 350 into a 400. best to email me and 'chat'

Taffy

with very careful work you could turn that 350 into a 600. But it will take some work.

I would use the 600 crankshaft again and put one of my 600 rod kits on it. I would get either the correct 95mm barrel or a new 92mm barrel which would bring the Cc down to about 570cc.
Steel cam sprocket
road and track cam
later auto decomp and my modified spring
get rid of the kickstart and manual decomp cables. blank the holes off
sledge mod
new cam bearings with the seals on them.
nice job of the rocker shafts (new) and bushes in them.
get an easystart kit for the carb and fit the choke cable up onto the handlebars
the big question is ball or roller mains?
I would machine the back walls of the main bearing houses out by 0.5mm each and fit roller bearings.
later upgraded cam chain tensioner blade

all the above would be important but as a nice touch i would upgrade the clutch to 2003+

but you have to have your eyes open looking for EVERYTHING! as you go!

for the piston, I would get from me a taller piston with a squish band but try and keep the compression the same. I don't think you'r bike should be thrashed on the roads in 2021 with a 1996 engine and lower compression would help.

Now that's how a man should brake an engine, with a gaping hole through the cases :p

Everyone here is willing to help with answers . So Welcome , have fun ,

now i have build my another engine witch is fe350 but i have some issues with ignition timing with stator. it wount start when i kicking it. It will make some times bangs in exhaust so it is like 90-180° degrees late so how i adjust ignition?

also i'v seen pictures for 2- diffrend style how stator is in motor:
this picture is from another bike from this forum but i installed my stator like this but i'v seen pictures where it is it installed like in that bottom picture

i tested it give spark but i don't know what is going on.
markings are also correct. and i tested with old school style with rod in spark plug hole so valve timing is okhey

so what next? :)
thaks for advice for advance guys <3

tow start it and then strobe the ignition timing, set the carb idle, fuel screw, carb idle, fuel screw. I have a video of how you do this on the Taffmeisters Facebook page.

make sure you can fit a 6-6.5mm drill bit shank under the slide.

Very strange, flywheel generally never causes problems- had it been dropped? Were the magnets loose?
