has anyone ever tried to fit a newer steel type of upper cam sprocket to a camshaft in a 1996 FC bike.they both are 30 tooth.is this project possible?dan

Hello to all, I'm a new owner of a 1994 501e and am grateful for this most excellent form on Husabergs.
My question is about the use of a later model steel upper camshaft sprocket on my 501, it too is a 30 tooth alloy sprocket.
I didn't understand the response that Mr. Taffy made or who DCR is?
