Hello Husabergers...Just thought I'd introduce myself and try to meet some fellow Husaberg owners. As a newcomer, I will tread lightly and I hope all can accept me into this esteemed group of Husaberg owners (I hear A$$ kissin goes a long way). Anyway, I hope you all don't mind me visiting and putting in my $.02 every once in a while. I am a previous Yam owner (WR450F) and District 37 C rider with a couple of transfer rides into being a B rider and will now be an 05 F650e owner and will be moving to Oregon. Im 37, married with 2 boys (6 yrs and 2yrs). Although classified as a C rider, I love challenges and Ride rides like the Soboba Trail Ride (all loops) and ride on the same minute as 2 expert Enduro Riders in the always challenging District 37 Enduros and a couple of H&Hs.
Sorry for the Novel...thanks...BBB

Welcome to the site sir. ***-kissing is not necessary. I don't think you want your nose anywhere near most of the ***** on this site anyway.

Glad to see you dropped the Jap bike for the rightous!!!

There's no stupid questions, but search before you do, cause many have been answered before, and Schwim has done a great job organizing this place so doing that kinda stuff is easy...

PS- Get on the map!!!

that is a really long name you have chosen.i hope you enjoy your time here and when you think you have something to say,say it!ps.is it true riders in district 36 are faster than district 37 riders? :firestarter: you see, little comments like that one often turn rather interesting!especially if Taffy gets in on it. :agrue:

Welcome BBB, look forward to your input on the site. As stated before, you will find a welth of information here and no questions are stupid..... Although Taff will make you feel that way from time to time.

Regards,

thanks to all

Thanks for the welcoming replies...by the way...how is it possible for a D36 rider to be faster than a D37 rider, when you all have those funny looking things called TREES popping in front of you all the time...I guess I'll have alot of woods learning to do...It will be nice to have some shade though...Im so used to breathing dust (rarely in front) and bouncing off rocks. Thanks again and I look forward to the abuse. BBB

You're quitting a WR 450F for a Berg? Wow and I thought they were excellent bikes :) (I live with a Yamaha fanatic, that's what I hear all the time).

Welcome aboard.

i got out of a WR400. POS that was. i lie. it wasn't a yamaha at all it was a yamaha frame and everything else was swopped out for something that did the job better.

ok bergs don't produce the same BHP as jap bikes but there isn't a CC limit for 99.95 of members here.

CRF450 quicker than your 450? fine get a 550!

regards

Taffy

actually

Im not getting rid of the WR450....just adding the 650 to my line...kind of a research thing...I love the WR...but the future will be all about Bergs for me....you know that WR450...(no mods) is SO FLIPPIN FAST...obviously the 650 will be more bike...but like I said previously...I ride on the same minute as an Expert on a KTM 520EXC and have actually left him behind in some open areas...(although fatigue and suspension may have more to do with it than the power).

:D Welcome to my nightmare. I am the resident bad example. I know nothing, where all these other brilliant young fast Husaberg riders seem to know everything. I have already been helped immensely. I just wish I could return the favor, but I have not come up with anything that helps that these guys do not already know. I am a good trial attorney, but nobody ever has a legal question. They even dis my Husaberg everytime I mention her. :(

Welcome to the site. There are a lot of helpful information here. If you haven`t ridden in trees before, it makes for a interesting ride  . Take care.
