New to Husaberg: 05 FE550e Question

Hi All, I am considering buying an '05 FE550e (Canadian model) with 1300 kms. Being unfamiliar with this make / model, I would appreciate any suggestions as to what I should watch out for when I inspect the bike. Thanks in advance.

Generally speaking the bikes are good for 150 plus hrs. I've seen a few 04 05 550s with 200 hrs and no problems. Other wise a used bike is a used bike. Listening to the engine may be different if you are not used to the berg engine, so a trained ear may be neccessary.

Thanks for the reply. I bought the FE and I'm very excited with my new purchase. It is in "as new" condition and shows only 36 hrs on the clock. I plan on taking it to a dealer for a thorough once over, however it looks like it should be a solid ride. I'm located in Ontario.

Can anyone suggest a top line dealer / mechanic for Husaberg in Ontario?

Did you buy Klaus' bike? That bike looked sweet if it is the same one.
