Almost forgot to say ...
Aprilia SXV freshly serviced (3rd starter motor changed !!), and wit some nice mods:
- ECU remapped
- Silmotor full exhaust
- TwinAir air filter
- Sutter slipper clutch
- Brembo hand brake cylinder
- front brake pads from KTM SMR (organic?)
Just a few random observations from point of FS rider:
- no punch straight from the basement
- no kick starter (bad)
- allmost no vibrations compared with big FS
- awesome sound
- fun starts after 7000 rpm, and then goes like hell
- feels heavyer than it looks (10 kg more than FS)
- still not sure do I like slipper clutch or not
- clumsy ergonomics - narrow and sharp-edged seat and tank
- gearbox nice and short for upshifting, but deep and "soggy" for downshifting
- Brembo hand brake cylinder better than FTE (also stock on SXV)
- EFI works OK
