Please tell us what you think of those Closed Cartride forks that are new for the 2011 FEs.

they look better covered in cack !!! going out at the weekend with friend on an RXV  i'm a little worried about the front forks, whilst i was doing the first hour running in, they feel really harsh !! i have played about with the settings today but will play some more at the weekend

Let us know how you go with the CC forks as the extra hours go on the bike.

My 2010 OC forks felt a little harsh at first which I think that was partly as I hadn't had the springs changed yet and the standard ones were too soft for me so the forks were probably part way through the stroke even before hitting a bump, but the standard settings still seemed a bit firm for my liking. Somewhere between fitting the right springs, changing the settings and the forks breaking in with more use, they feel fine now.

It will be interesting to see what you think of the CC forks once they've got a few more hours on them, and to know what sort of riding you're doing.
