New Member to site and Husabergs

Hey all.

Just wanted to say hi and that I am a proud owner of a 'new to me' 08 Husaberg 550 FE. I purchased it a couple of weeks ago and it came with skid plate, bark busters, oversize tank, and dual purpose kit (lights, horn etc.). My main focus for this bike is faster dual track back roads with occasional single track. I still will ride my YZ 250 for tight single track.

Anyhow, just thought I would drop a line and start going through this site. :cheers:

Great. Can't wait for the snow to go so I can get out on it.

Planning some exhaust wrap on the header as I have burned my fingers shutting off the choke and pants just sitting on it. Needs a rear brake pedal fix (tip is inside of the foot peg??? :roll: pigeon toed engineer?? :wink: ) and that is about it.

Couldn't do that. Two distinctive riding for me. I ride with a few guys on 530's and they are better riders but can't keep up in the tight stuff. Plus would have to find a whole new group of buddies to ride with!!! Wait, that is exactly what I am doing. Cool. :lol:

Actually, my goal is to get to the Baja for next year. My wife just got me tickets to Vegas for the Enduro X finals on Nov. 20th and I think the start of the Baja is the 17th. Plan is to drive down and get some riding in, watch the start at least then head back up to Vegas.

Friends do it in around 25-30 hours drive from home I think. Looking forward to seeing some new country. :cheers:
 
Sound like you gonna have a good time. Good luck make sure you put up some pic's.
Enjoy the berk before you know it you'll be a legend in tight stuff with that berg and like i said the yz will be funding more mods for the berg!!!! :mrgreen:
